The final college football polls were released early Tuesday morning. Some Boise State-centric notes:

— The Broncos failed to crack the final polls for the first time since 2007 and failed to receive a vote in the final polls for the first time since 2001. Since 2002, the only seasons in which the Broncos did not finish in the Top 25 were 2005 (9-4), 2007 (10-3) and 2013 (8-5).

— Three Boise State opponents received votes: AP No. 25 Washington, Fresno State (27th in both) and Utah State.

— Four of Boise State’s 2014 opponents received votes: Fresno State, Utah State, Mississippi and Louisiana.

— Nine non-BCS teams received votes. The list: Fresno State, Northern Illinois, North Dakota State (FCS), Navy, East Carolina, Utah State, Marshall, North Texas and Louisiana.
