Help the Ada Community Library celebrate its Silver Anniversary

Ada Community Library marks 25 years in the Victory location with an open house on Thursday, January 23. The library invite community members to stop in anytime between 5-8 p.m., 10664 W. Victory Rd. Boise.                                      

Refreshments will be served throughout the evening. Attendees will be able to enjoy Dream Chocolate, pick up a library magnet and door prize ticket and meet the library mascot, “Whoodini.” 

Special activities include:

5:30 – “Fashion show” of materials published or released in 1989.

6:00 – “Gadget Garage” for demonstrations of current library technologies including the new 3-D printer.

6:45 – Remarks by Ada Community Library founders.

7:00 – 80s music played by students of Boise Rock School.

Also note: ACL’s Star Branch, which opened in the Star Senior Center in January of 1989, celebrates on Saturday, January 25, with an open house from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Star Branch, 10706 W. State Street in Star.
