The new Web site is more user friendly and offers residents many options for receiving notifications / alerts about upcoming meetings, activities.
There are four large “buttons” on the right side of the city Web site that are portals into much more information. They are: notify me (sign-up to receive city notifications), online bill pay, report a concern and alert center (airport, code enforcement, emergency).
There are four sections across the top of the page, including “How do I?” That will help residents do everything from register to vote, get a library card or apply for a job. Learn more about the community under “Our Community,” a section that offers city code, demographics, maps and frequently asked questions.
The city allocated $40,000 to design and deploy the new Web site. The City worked with Civic Plus, a company that specializes in working with municipalities.
