Good rafting flow on the Boise River

raftingThe Boise River was inviting to  a few rafters on Saturday (June 8) as seen here near the Broadway Bridge.

Even though the water temperature is in the 40s, if you stay out of the water, it can be a pleasant float in the 80-degree temps.

The river is in the 700 to 800 cfs range, which is considered moderately low for summertime flows.

The river is cold. I was wading in it while doing retrieving practice with my pooch. My toes were numb in no time at all.
