The Fresno State football team jumped three spots to No. 13 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll on Sunday. The Bulldogs are six spots ahead of UCF and seven spots ahead of Northern Illinois, which puts them in strong position to secure a Bowl Championship Series berth.

Fresno State plays at San Jose State this week and then will host the Mountain West championship game, likely against Utah State.
