Idaho Core Standards, the set of goals for what students should know before they graduate from high school, will get some scrutiny this afternoon.
The House and Senate education committees received hundreds of questions about the standards and will convene a meeting at 3 p.m. today for a panel of people — both pro and con on Idaho Core Standards — to answer them.
The goal is to air concerns and get straight answers to questions and complaints about the standards that are now in place in Idaho classrooms.
The meeting will be in the Capitol’s Lincoln Auditorium. No comments will be taken.
