Five Things You Should Do This Weekend in Boise

When you aren’t noshing on a sizzling steak at Boise’s new Ruth’s Chris

1. SEE SOME COMEDY
Stand-up comedian Jeff Richards is a gifted impressionist and former “Saturday Night Live” cast member. (Remember “Drunk Girl”?) He’ll headline at Liquid Laughs tonight through Sunday. [Tickets]

2. ENJOY YOUR LITTLE LIFE
Twin Falls-raised singer-songwriter Korby Lenker headlines a solo show tonight at Neurolux. Now based in Nashville, he’s a quirky, talented guy with an infectious zest for living.

3. PRETEND IT’S ST. PADDY’S DAY
Celtic-rock band The Young Dubliners might be a little older and wiser, but they still bring the Guinness-spilling anthems like nobody’s business. (Check out their new single, “We the Mighty,” at the 6-1/2 minute mark of the video below.) Party with the Dubs Saturday at the Knitting Factory.

4. DO SOME HOOPS
The Portland Trail Blazers are parting ways with the Idaho Stampede, but not before the Stampede welcome the Santa Cruz Warriors for games tonight and Saturday at CenturyLink Arena.

5. WATCH THE OSCARS
The 86th Academy Awards will air at 6:30 p.m. Sunday on ABC. Feel like getting out of the house? There’s a big party at The Village at Meridian’s Backstage Bistro.
