Five Things You Should Do This Weekend

If you aren’t still recovering from that sold-out Imagine Dragons show … (Photo gallery here.)

1. ROCK OUT
Talk about diversity. We have metal tonight with Lamb of God at the Revolution Center. [Tickets] We have EDM on Saturday with Rusko at the Revolution Center. [Tickets] We have indie-rock Sunday with Arctic Monkeys at the Knitting Factory. [Tickets] And we have soulful ZZ Ward on Memorial Day evening at Neurolux. [Tickets]

2. WATCH A BIG. DUMB. SUMMER. MOVIE.
Look, you know exactly what you’re going to get with “Fast & Furious 6.” It’s OK to turn your brain off for two hours, America. Frankly, I’d probably rather sit through Vin Diesel’s car chases than “The Hangover III,” which isn’t exactly thrilling critics.

3. HORSE AROUND
If you haven’t been out to Les Bois Park yet, it’s time. They’ll have live horse racing not just on Saturday, but also on Memorial Day. Or, of course, you could wait until “ladies night” on Wednesday …

4. CHASE LUMINEERS TICKETS
If you didn’t manage  to snag one of the free tickets distributed this morning to the May 28 concert by The Lumineers, get your voucher at three Boise locations on Memorial Day instead. [Details]

5. GET WELL
Feelin’ a little New Agey? Put the top down on the VW bug, crank some Yanni and road trip to the annual Sun Valley Wellness Festival, which began Thursday and continues through Monday. Deepak Chopra has been there. I have to admit: It would be interesting to hear Eben Alexander speak tonight. Right, Oprah?
