Five Things You Should Do This Weekend

1. GET COMFORTABLY NUMB
Pink Floyd tribute act Brit Floyd is back in town — tonight at the Revolution Center. If you’re a Floyd fan and miss it, you’re going to wish you were there. [Tickets]

2. PIG OUT
Bring an appetite Friday and Saturday to the annual Russian Food Festival in Boise. Or help vanquish 3,000 pounds of cooked and smoked pork Saturday at Pigapalooza in Eagle. (Both places will serve beer, too.) Burp.

3. HAGGLE
Do you enjoy arguing politely to save 25 cents? Do you gravitate to yard sales? Then you should join the other 10,000 people who peruse Idaho’s Largest Garage Sale each year. It’s Saturday at Expo Idaho.

4. ATTEND A BENEFIT
After my vague dig at Garden City (I love teasing poor Garden City, but even I’m not sure exactly what “Garden City-ish” means), I should probably send some love that direction. Shorty’s Saloon, 5467 Glenwood St., is hosting a “Remember When” benefit Sunday for City Light Home for Women and Children. There will be live music, hot rods, BBQ, children’s activities, beer and more. [Details]

5. BUST OUT YOUR BIKE
It’s perfect biking weather. And look! It’s Boise Bike Week, and there are tons of pedaling opportunities all weekend. (Plus, it gives me an excuse to post this mind-blowing video again.)
