Fire forecast good so far for Idaho, bad for California

Interior Secretary Sally Jewell and a host of Oregon and Idaho congressmen and Idaho Gov. Butch Otter got a briefing on the wildfire danger Monday from America’s Chief Fire Meteorologist Ed Delgado.

Delgado, predictive services manager for the National Interagency Fire Center, said it doesn’t look too bad yet for the Northern Rockies, including Idaho. But if you live in California, Arizona or New Mexico, you better be vigilant.
