In the second week of a six-week journey around the country, the Fast for Families Across America Bus Tour will stop in Idaho’s First Congressional District to engage constituents on common sense immigration reform. Faith, labor, civil rights and immigrant rights leaders will share stories and their determination that reform will pass in this year. The Bus Tour will cover over 14,000 miles from Washington to Washington D.C. over the next six weeks while fasting for immigration reform.
Here’s the line-up of Idaho events:
12:00-12:30 pm: Press conference at Community Council of Idaho, 317 Happy Day Blvd. Caldwell, ID 83607
12:30-2:00 pm: Lunch and program for families at Community Council of Idaho, 317 Happy Day Blvd. Caldwell, ID 83607 (Parents and children will welcome the fasters to Idaho with signs and banners)
3:00 pm: Meeting with community leaders and representatives and Labrador’s Staff, Meridian City Hall 33 East Broadway Meridian, ID
