Access to Linder Road from Idaho 44/State Street heading north will close at 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, and reopen 6 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11.
The Idaho Transportation Department must close the segment of Linder just north of the Idaho 44 intersection so crews can rebuild a bridge over the Middleton Mill Canal.
During the closure, drivers will still be able to access Linder from Floating Feather Road. Detour routes will be clearly marked. Access will remain open to Hope Lutheran Church and residences and schools on Linder Road.

The speed limit has been reduced to 45 mph in the construction zone. At least one lane in each direction will remain open on Idaho 44.
ITD is rebuilding the Linder and Idaho 44 intersection and widening Idaho 44 to five lanes between Linder and Ballantyne Lane.
Construction is expected to be completed by fall.
ITD selected Central Paving, Inc. and Horrocks Engineers as the design-build team for the $9.23 million project.
ITD is responsible for all highways in Ada County, including Interstate 84, state highways and U.S. routes. All other Ada County roads are under the jurisdiction of the Ada County Highway District.
