Don’t miss ‘A Night on the Boardwalk,’ get a preview on First Thursday

This event is a fundraiser for Idaho Parents Unlimited, a nonprofit organization supporting individuals with disabilities and their families.

It promises to be great fun and offers a chance to add a piece by a local artist to your collection.

Performances spotlighting the programs at IPU will take place thoughout the evening.

The event is at 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 4 at the Creative Access Art Center, 500 S. 8th St. Tickets are $30 per person, $50 per couple, available online:

Here’s how the art sale will work: Everyone who attends will receive a colored wristband. Beginning at 7 p.m., different colored bands will be drawn, lottery style. Wristband holders will be able to spend seven minutes on the “Boardwalk” where art is displayed. In those seven minutes, attendees will be able to buy the art of their choice.

(Note: Special wristbands for event sponsors guarantees first or second entry! Consider being a sponsor by clicking here: )

(Note 2: A public preview of art will take place the first week in October including the evening of First Thursday, October 3.
