Donations being taken for Idaho wildlife fire fund

I blogged yesterday about valuable wildlife habitat that is being destroyed by wildfires sweeping across South-Central Idaho.

Well, I got a tweet from the Idaho Fish & Wildlife Foundation, a conservation foundation, that it is taking  donations to help restore habitat through its wildlife-fire fund. Go Here for information.

The Idaho Fish & Wildlife Foundation was established in 1990 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It’s mission is to preserve and sustain Idaho’s fishing, hunting and wildlife heritage.

The Foundation is headquartered in Boise and supports preservation and education programs. It also sponsors the Idaho Wildlife license plate program, which raises funds for wildlife – fish, game and non-game.

The organization has several funds but its “Greatest Need Fund” is the emergency fund for wildlife.
