Deer Crossing in Boise River

deerThe Boise River through town is rich in wildlife on an afternoon float, but this?

These deer decided to cut in line. They seemed like they owned the place and were not bothered by the rafters.

We saw great blue herons, ospreys, kingfishers and other birds, but the deer were a total surprise.
