The Community Council of Idaho is partnering with the Toys for Tots Foundation, helping local parents give their children a Christmas. CC Idaho’s main office in Caldwell is now accepting applications for families requesting assistance, as well as donations of unopened toys.
Applications for assistance must be hand delivered to the main office at 317 Happy Day Blvd., Suite 250 in Caldwell to be accepted. Applicants must bring a photo ID and one of the following for each child receiving assistance: immunization record, birth certificate, student ID card, or guardianship documents. Children older than 12 years old are not eligible for presents.
The deadline to submit an application is Friday, December 6, 2013. CC Idaho will begin distributing gifts from Dec. 17 to Dec. 23. Applications in English and Spanish are available.
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
