Critter cam tip: Set up for multiple shots

coyoteIt’s a good idea to take a look at the settings on your wildlife camera every once in a while.

I was missing shots of critters because I had it on a three-shot setting. A lot of times I’d just catch the tail end of the animal going by.

I changed to a five-shot setting and have been getting better shots.

I also changed the direction of the camera on the trail to better cover the area. Animals are usually on the move and by the time the camera wakes up and fires, sometimes you miss.

Anyway, don’t be like me. Read the camera’s directions and get better results.
