Concert notes: Night Ranger added to Boston date; Xavier Rudd, Black Flag coming

As I wrote a week or two ago, classic-rock act Boston is headed to the Idaho Center Amphitheater on Sept. 3. What we didn’t know until now is that Night Ranger will open. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for $39.50 lawn, $59.50 reserved, at ICTickets.

In other concert news, Xavier Rudd has been booked July 9 at the Revolution Center in Garden City. Ash Grunwald opens. When that show goes on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketfly, the first 100 tickets sold will cost $15. After that, it’s $20 general, $35 VIP.

Last but not least, Black Flag will headline July 27 at the Knitting Factory. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for $20 at TicketWeb. Like the aforementioned Boston, Black Flag is pretty much the original guitarist and a bunch of replacement dudes. And, thus far, somewhat of a Dumpster fire.
