The city of Boise has reorganized its website and given it a whole new look.
The city wants people to try out a preview version of the new site and leave feedback on what works, what doesn’t, etc.
Once you’re in the preview version, everything on the website will appear in the new design until you click the “End Preview” button in the upper right corner.
A city team developed the new site over the last year with the goal of improving the site’s look and feel, making it easier for users to navigate, and to “better represent Boise’s high livability,” according to a city news release.
To tell Boise what you think of the preview site, click the button that looks like a megaphone on the upper right side of the page (just right of the search window) while you’re still in the preview version. That will open a drop-down window with space for your comment. Only your comments are required. It’s not necessary to fill out windows with space for your name and other personal information.
Comments will be accepted until the end of the day Sunday, March 23.
The revised site is expected to be permanently activated sometime in April.
