Carry a camera everywhere

moon-impPhoto opportunities are everywhere and unless you carry some kind of camera wherever you go outdoors, you’ll miss those opportunities.

You don’t have to carry a big SLR. Most of today’s small point-and-shoot pocket cameras do a wonderful job of capturing photos, even the ones that require certain lighting, like at dusk and dawn. Waterproof or weatherproof  cameras are a plus.

The automatic settings on the point-and-shoots make taking photos on the fly pretty easy whether you’re mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing or whatever. Most have settings for night, dawn or other special effects.

Remember the camera and catch that special photo.
