Caldwell’s Coyote Dash, a family-friendly mud race, set for April 21

Do you like to run? Do you like to play in the mud?

Then Caldwell Adventist Elementary School’s first annual Coyote Dash may be for you. It is set for 10 a.m. Sunday, April 21 at Gem State Academy, 16115 S. Montana Avenue in Caldwell.

The race, which is for kids age 5 to adult, will feature 1.5 miles of mud and obstacle. You’ll get to climb up a rope wall, crawl under obstacles and wallow in a pit of mud.

Sound like fun? Well it’s all for a good cause.

Proceeds from the race will help fund a new playground area for students, as well as the daycare that is operated on campus.

“As a nonprofit organization, the Caldwell Adventist Elementary School relies on contributed income to support its programs and services,” Principal Bonny Smith said in a press release. “The Coyote Dash is a fun, family-oriented event open to the entire community. It’s healthy fun for a great cause.”

Entry Fees: $20 for adults; $15 for students, or $60 for a group of 4. Everyone who is registered gets a T-shirt. Register online at http://coyotedash.com.
