Bundle up, Boise! Highs Monday in the low-40s, possible snow
Boise received its first snowfall of the season, and it was light enough that you might have missed it if you slept in Sunday morning (link
to photos, tweets about snow). A trace of snow was recorded at the Boise airport, while about an inch fell at Bogus Basin.
Sunday was unseasonably cold, with the high reaching just 45. The same is expected for Monday — the high is expected to be in the low-40s.
Another storm system out of British Columbia could bring snow flurries to the Treasure Valley during the Monday morning commute. But most of the snow is expected to be in the Boise Mountains and West-Central Mountains.
There’s a slight chance of rain in the Valley on Tuesday afternoon, and there’s a 40 percent chance of rain and snow in the mountains.
