Bronco hoops’ game Wednesday against No. 5 SDSU will be a rarity

Boise State hosts San Diego State on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m., televised on CBS Sports Network. The Aztecs, ranked No. 5 in the latest AP poll, will be the third top-5 team ever to play at Boise State.
The Broncos hosted then-No. 3 Cincinnati on Dec. 30, 1999 and then-No. 5 Wyoming on Dec. 22, 1987 — both losses. Wednesday’s game will be the eighth time ever, regardless of site, that Broncos will face a top-5 team.
