Boise’s Old Chicago hosts annual Christmas day party for families in need

On Christmas Day, Old Chicago Restaurant employees and more than 100 community volunteers will gather to provide a holiday meal and Christmas cheer to approximately 1,300 homeless and in-need families from the Treasure Valley.

A classic Old Chicago meal will feature signature pizzas, pastas, hand-tossed salads and toasted garlic bread.  Each guest also will receive a holiday dessert and alcohol-free beverages.

In addition, children will be able to visit Santa at the North Pole Room and participate in festive holiday games, activities, and crafts; each family will receive a professional photo to commemorate the celebration.

The festivities take place between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Christmas Day, at Old Chicago, 730 West Idaho St.
