If you’ve ever wondered what you can use all that rainwater for instead of letting it run down the drain, this is an event for you.
On Saturday, the American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association will present an one-day, introductory course on harvesting rainwater for non-potable uses. The event will provide an overview of rainwater-harvesting history, methods and application, including concepts and techniques for uses such as landscape irrigation and wildlife management.
It starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. Walk-in registration, which costs $30, starts at 8:30 a.m.
