Boise to study transit options

The city would pool $62,500 of its own money with $375,000 from a federal grant and another $62,500 from the city’s urban renewal agency to pay for the study.

Ultimately, the goal is to figure out what kind of enhanced public transportation, if any, would best serve the Boise area.

City officials say a train system is just one of many options. Expanding bus service is another.
