Boise State signee Hutchison ranked No. 80 in ESPN’s Top 100

Chandler Hutchison, a 6-foot-7 guard/forward that signed with the Boise State men’s basketball team in November, has seen his stock take off since he signed, and on Wednesday he was ranked among the top 100 recruits in the nation by ESPN.

Hutchison, from Mission Viejo (Calif.) High, was ranked No. 80, and a four-star recruit. ESPN has him as the No. 19 small forward in the nation and the No. 7 recruit in California. On Tuesday, coach Leon Rice said Hutchison and fellow signee David Wacker, a 6-9 forward out of Texas, “are the highest-level recruits we’ve been able to sign.” Hutchison had 66 points in his last three high school games — a section final and two state playoff games.
