Boise State Art Metals hosts fundraising silent auction beginning First Thursday

Event Description: The Boise State University Art Department Art Metals Program will be hosting their Annual Silent Auction at R. Grey Gallery (415 South 8th St.) for the month of April.

The opening reception is from 5 to 9 p.m., Thursday, April 3. All proceeds go back to the Art Metals Studio to purchase tools, equipment, and help fund the Art Metals Visiting Artist Program.

Artwork includes: sculptures and jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, belt buckles, and rings). Intermediate/Advanced students create collaborative work, alumni donate work from their studio practices, and, this year, Professor Anika Smulovitz will donate one of her works for the auction.
