Boise School District’s four traditional high schools were among the top in the country based on a rating from the Washington Post.
Out of 2,020 schools that made the list, Boise High was 402; Timberline High, 959; Capital High, 1,496; and Borah High, 1,572. The country has about 22,000 high schools.
This is the fifth year in a row that all four schools made the list.
Rankings, formerly published by Newsweek, are based on the number of students who take Advanced Placement and other college-level tests divided by the total number of graduates.
