Boise, Idaho IceWorld offer free hockey, skating lessons

Boise Parks and Recreation is inviting first-time skaters to ”Try Hockey For Free” and “Learn to Skate” on Thursday at Idaho IceWorld.

Skates, stick, gloves and helmets will be provided. Skate lessons for rookies ages 4 and up go from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Gear fitting for the hockey curious will go from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The hockey event’s on-ice session runs from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
