Bikini weather in Boise this week?

School’s out for the summer, and it’s going to be a warm — not blistering — week in the Treasure Valley. Time to break out that bathing suit.

The hottest day of the week is expected to be Thursday, when temperatures will soar to 90, according to the National Weather Service. The rest of the week will be in the upper-70s and 80s.

A storm to the north of the Treasure Valley brought wind gusts of up to 30 mph Sunday, but winds will calm to 10 to 15 mph by Monday.

Boise public pools have opened for the season, and Roaring Springs is now open every day (11 a.m.- 8 p.m.).
