The Idaho Fallen Soldier Memorial Coalition is holding the fourth annual memorial service with the unveiling of the engraved names of the three Idaho soldiers who lost their lives in the last year.
The service will take place on Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. at the Idaho Fallen Soldier Memorial on the grounds of the Idaho Law Learning Center, formerly known as the Ada County Courthouse at 514 Jefferson St. in Downtown Boise.
Gov. Butch Otter and First Lady Lori Otter will recite the names of all 66 fallen Soldiers with a special presentation to the families of Mitchell Daehling, Octavio Herrera, Thomas Murach and Shane Wilson.
There will be 50 to 100 family members in attendance as well as civilian and military dignitaries.
