Amazing bird watching near Fort Boise WMA

snowsThe scene is totally breathtaking. Hundreds and hundreds of snow geese are flying the skies over the Parma area and it looks like a blizzard of geese.

If you’ve never seen large flocks of snows, this is the time of the year to be in the Parma area of Idaho.

You’ll spot some out in the farm fields along U.S. 95, but there are some areas near the Fort Boise Wildlife Management Area where larger flocks are buzzing around.

It’s definitely something to add to your bird-watching life list.

Parma is about an hour west of Boise and easily reached off U.S. 20-26.
