Alive After Five music acts for the 2013 season

Update: A few Facebookers are sharing suggestions of what bands they’d like to see booked at Alive After Five. (Steel Panther? That one made me spit up my coffee laughing.)

Life is good. Alive After Five will fire up soon in The Grove Plaza. As usual, it’s free and runs from 5 to 8 p.m. This season’s lineup lacks any “holy $#@%!” surprises, e.g. Fitz and the Tantrums or even Black Joe Lewis. But it’s way more consistent than last year. Whether it’s favorites of the Treefort crowd (Pickwick, Sallie Ford) or a bluesy blast from the past (Curtis Salgado), there’s something strong to look forward to nearly every week.
