For those of you keeping score at home, here’s your cheat sheet for Idaho ski areas ranked by summit depth. (Note: Bogus Basin reports only base depth, and Sun Valley does not list snow depth in its website:
Kelly Canyon: 95 inches.
Grand Targhee: 93 inches.
Lost Trail: 92 inches.
Lookout Pass: 89 inches.
Schweitzer: 66 inches (tie).
Pomerelle: 66 inches (tie).
Tamarack: 65 inches.
Silver Mountain: 63 inches.
Brundage: 61 inches.
Bogus Basin 46 inches (base area, not summit).
Cottonwood Butte: 38 inches.
