Ada County: Vote early on Saturday

Ada County holds special early voting hours for registered voters from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the county elections office, 400 N. Benjamin Lane in West Boise.

Early voting in Ada and Canyon counties will continue through Nov. 1.

Ada County early voting takes place 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the county elections office.

Canyon County early voting takes place 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at 1102 E. Chicago St. in Caldwell.

As of Thursday, 542 people had voted early in Ada County. The county has also mailed 6,061 ballots; of which 2,095 have been returned.

Registered voters may request an absentee ballot until 5 p.m. Oct. 30. Absentee ballot request forms are available at www.idahovotes.gov. You also may request an absentee ballot in person or in writing from your county clerk’s office. Written requests must list your complete name and address, the address you want it mailed to and must be signed by you.
