On the menu: H.J. took Sahara to the West Side Drive In on State Street to enjoy some treats off their dog menu. Sahara feasted on the pet bacon burger with a side of French fries and the pet ice cream bowl.
Notable: Sahara’s not a carb girl! She preferred her burger without a bun and she did not care for French fries.
Sahara’s life has not been so sweet but today she got a taste of the sweet life. She was so excited about her first outing away from the shelter that she could hardly concentrate on eating. She was super cuddly during lunch and she made several new friends. During most of lunch she was modeling her famous pitty smile.
After lunch: H.J. and Sahara returned to the Idaho Humane Society to play off leash in the grass yard. She ran zoomies around the yard picking up toys along the way!
More about Sahara from the Idaho Humane Society: Sahara is a beautiful girl with unique markings. She is very cuddly and affectionate and loves to be with people. She is an assertive female but has done great in doggy playgroups at the shelter. She is very physical in her play style and would enjoy a home with a dog that will wrestle with her. A young playful male may be an idea sibling. She is young and fun to work with. She is wiggly and bouncy and will need an owner that will keep her socialized so she can continue to be a breed ambassador.
