A critical question answered: Where do I go potty at Boise parks?

Boise Parks & Recreation crews will start closing and winterizing park rest rooms and drinking fountains on Oct. 14. Although most restrooms will be closed, 14 remain open year-round in high-traffic areas, including:

Ann Morrison Park (near the playground)
Camel’s Back Park
Fort Boise Park
Greenbelt (near Lander Street)
Hyatt Hidden Lakes Reserve
Julia Davis Park (Agriculture Pavilion near entrance to Zoo Boise)
Kathryn Albertson Park (main parking lot)
Marianne Williams Park
Morris Hill Neighborhood Park
Municipal Park Shelter
Oregon Trail Reserve
Park Center Park
Shoreline Park
Veteran’s Memorial Park

Portable restrooms will be provided through the winter at:

Ann Morrison Park ball fields and Duck Island
Baggley Park
Boise River Park
Borah Park
Cassia Park
Fairmont Park
Ivywild Park
Julia Davis Park playground
Liberty Park
Military Reserve Archery Range and dog park
Optimist Youth Sports Complex
Pine Grove Dog Park
Quarry View Park
Redwood Park
Rhodes Park
Winstead Park

Most park restrooms will reopen in mid-April, weather permitting.
