Dia de los Muertos by Boise Mexican consulate, Idaho Historical Society

Ever wonder what Dia de los Muertos means and how exactly it’s related to Halloween?

Friday, you’ll have a chance to hear three experts weigh in on the Latino tradition during a presentation put on by the Mexican consulate in Boise and the Idaho Historical Society.

The presenters will be Kurt Zwolfer of the Idaho Historical Museum, Father Jesus Camacho of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Father Henry Carmona of St. John’s Catholic Cathedral in Boise. Guillermo Ordorica, Mexico’s consul in Boise, will moderate the event.

The presentation starts Friday at 5 p.m. in the auditorium of the Washington Group Plaza, 720 Park Blvd. in Boise.
