On the menu: H.J. took this beefcake to Boise Fry Company for a classic cheeseburger and fries.
Notable: Angus wouldn’t eat the fries without ketchup in fact, he’s a double dipper!
H.J. and Angus enjoyed a quiet lunch next to the rose garden in Julia Davis Park. All was peaceful until the sprinklers came on. Angus was about to explode with excitement when he saw the sprinklers and it quickly became a game of dog vs. sprinkler! After lunch H.J. took Angus to the greenbelt so he could play in the river. Angus walked right in the river with no hesitation. “Angus is a good boy, he was happy to sit and shake for his lunch and he takes food so gently,” said H.J. “He will be a fun canine companion for an active family.”
More about Angus from IHS:
American Pit Bull Terrier – Male – 3 years old – Black/White – 60 pounds
What a love Angus is! He is a medium energy dog who loves to go on walks, but needs to be reminded not to pull on the leash. Commands Angus already knows include sit, down, stay, come, shake hands, and sit up or beg! Angus gets along well with bigger dogs, but is too intense for smaller dogs. A home with adults and children older than 10 years old due to his size and strength is recommended for Angus.
Angus is available for adoption at the Idaho Humane Society. You can find him in Kennel C310 https://www.idahohumanesociety.org/adopt/view-pet/?petid=19412113
